Ballantine Drone Services — Inspect, Monitor, Maintain

Straight answers before the flight.

What drones can document, what you can receive and what we need to scope your project.

What types of inspections can drones perform?

Drones collect visual information from commercial roofs, exterior building surfaces, infrastructure, elevated structures and large sites. The service documents conditions for review; it does not replace engineering analysis or specialized professional diagnosis.

What is a drone infrastructure inspection?

It is aerial visual data collection for assets such as bridges, roads, utilities, drainage systems and coastal infrastructure. Images help teams document visible conditions and identify areas for qualified follow-up.

Can drones inspect commercial roofs?

Drones can photograph visible roof conditions and difficult-to-access areas. Thermal imagery may also document temperature patterns. Access, flight conditions and the requested scope determine the views available.

What is thermal drone imaging?

Thermal drone imaging uses a thermal camera to record surface temperature patterns from the air. It helps reveal differences that are not visible in ordinary photographs.

What can thermal drone cameras detect?

Thermal cameras record temperature differences and heat anomalies. These observations can warrant further investigation, but thermal imagery alone does not establish a moisture, electrical or building diagnosis.

Can drones document hurricane and storm damage?

Yes. Aerial imagery can document property, coastal and infrastructure impacts and track recovery. Work depends on safe conditions, site access and flight authorization.

Can drones help document flood damage?

Drones can document visible flooding, affected areas and changing site conditions. Imagery does not establish damage inside a building or determine insurance coverage.

Can you map construction sites?

Yes. Site mapping and overhead imagery can document layout, development and changing conditions. Mapping requirements and file formats are agreed before the project.

What is an orthomosaic drone map?

An orthomosaic is a stitched, corrected overhead image made from overlapping aerial photographs. It provides a detailed site view for visual planning and documentation. It is not automatically a boundary survey or survey-grade product.

Do you provide construction progress drone photography?

Yes. Weekly, monthly or milestone visits can produce dated aerial photographs for contractors, owners, investors and project managers.

Can you document the same construction site repeatedly?

Yes. Repeat flights and comparable viewpoints can document change over time. Flight positions are repeated where practical, subject to site activity and operating conditions.

Do you provide commercial drone services in Fort Myers?

Yes. Ballantine Drone serves Fort Myers, Lee County and Southwest Florida with commercial aerial inspections, infrastructure documentation, thermal imagery, mapping and related services.

What areas of Southwest Florida do you serve?

Service areas include Fort Myers, Lee County, Cape Coral, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel, Estero, Bonita Springs, Naples, Collier County, Charlotte County and Punta Gorda.

What commercial pilot credential does Ballantine Drone hold?

Ballantine Drone operates with an FAA Part 107 commercial drone pilot. Project planning includes applicable airspace and operating requirements.

What information do you need before quoting a drone project?

Include your name and contact details, company, site location, type of service, approximate project size, desired timeframe and a description of the imagery or information you need.

Can you perform drone work outside Southwest Florida?

Broader Florida projects are considered based on scope, scheduling and travel. Contact us with the location and requirements.

Can drones inspect hard-to-reach infrastructure?

Drones can collect useful visual data from many difficult-access areas and reduce the need for physical access at every observation point. Some views remain limited by obstructions, airspace and safe operating conditions.

What types of files or imagery can a client receive?

Deliverables may include high-resolution aerial photographs, web-ready images, thermal images, digital overhead maps and dated progress image sets. The exact files and formats depend on the agreed project scope.
